About Nicko:

I’m Ashley-Nicole (: I hate my name though, so just call me Nicko. 
I’m 21 from NYC and I’m a licensed freelance make up artist (: I’m in the middle of two projects, this one and a make up/fashion blog with one of my best friends Janelle. I live for making people feel better, and smile, and laugh. Those are the things in life that make me happiest. I’m mad fun, son. I dye my hair a lot so I’ll be bald by the time I’m 40. I text like a maniac. I sing at the top of my lungs at home and annoy my entire family. I’m saving up for an apartment because it’s about that time that I leave the nest. I’m addicted to sushi and beer. Idk. I have a daughter. Her name is Mia. She’s a kitten :3 I adopted her in August 2010 and she’s the most affectionate kitty ever. She loves cuddles and curling up in a ball on your lap and pulling your pants down. She’s a spazz like momma. I’m not a crazy cat lady. I’m super artsy anyway. I’ve been drawing since I was a little girl and my art has only improved really. I love painting, and applying make up and doodling and sketching and writing poetry. I work retail during the day and the pole at night. Kidding, definitely not the pole. Sometimes.. Anyway, I’m pretty cool, totally easy to get along with and the likes. I probably like everything you like because all hipsters are the same now so I won’t list shit I’m into because you’ve read it at least 12 times today. Come on. It’s tumblr. I’m definitely original, though. At least I like to think I am. Onto the music.. 

I’ve been a music head all my life, but I’m not musically talented.. at all. I think I sing well by myself and in the shower lol, like every other girl on the planet. One of the main things I’m looking forward to though is adding the music to my lyrics because I feel like that’s the most magical part of even making music. The words really bring the song to life, and the music behind it is always just a huge plus. I saw Juno and felt like it’d be a cute idea to start a little indie band like the Moldy Peaches and shit but I never did it. So who better to start this project with than fucking Michael ! He’s my giant teddy bear superhero and very special and important to me and has been there through all my Nicko-Fits-of-Rage. Idk how this is going to turn out. Even if nobody likes us it’s going to be SO MUCH FUN :3 Merp. So I can’t wait and you motherfuckers better think we’re cute and shit. I’ll bake you cupcakes and make you pretty. (:
